ℹ️ About This Blocklist
IP reputation list run by Barracuda Networks. Barracuda describes the underlying data as "a database maintained by Barracuda Central [that] includes a list of IP addresses of known good senders as well as known spammers, or IP addresses with a 'poor' reputation", updated "continuously by Barracuda Central engineering". In Email Gateway Defense the BRBL is a setting rather than an always-on default: Barracuda's documentation says it is "strongly recommended that you select Use Barracuda Reputation Block List (BRBL)" on the Inbound Settings page, and it supports per-IP exemptions. So a listing bites wherever an administrator has taken that advice.
What a Listing Means
Barracuda Central has this IP in the poor-reputation half of its database. How much it costs you depends on the receiver: it only applies where a Barracuda gateway is filtering and the BRBL option is switched on.

When listed, the DNSBL returns one of these 127.x.x.x addresses. The specific code indicates the reason for the listing.

✅ How to Request Delisting
Barracuda publishes a removal request form at barracudacentral.org/rbl/removal-request. Fix whatever caused the listing before you submit it, because a reputation database updated continuously will simply put you back. We cannot describe the form itself or its turnaround here: barracudacentral.org returns 403 to automated requests, so the page has not been read at source, and anything we said about it would be hearsay.
